In recent years, Tantec A/S has undergone a successful growth journey. The company intends to continue and intensify this development. Therefore, the organization will be further strengthened.
The recruitment process for a new CEO with an operational background will now be initiated. The current CEO, Morten Thrane, together with Sales Director Kim Egede Saabye, will be responsible for the sales function, focusing on further strengthening Tantec’s market position and customer relations.
At the same time, current board member Jesper Andersen will assume the role of interim CEO until a permanent appointment is made. Jesper Andersen has previously served as CEO in several industrial enterprises and has held various executive positions within the manufacturing sector. He brings with him a strong background in production and general business management.
The Executive Board will consist of Interim CEO Jesper Andersen, Sales Director Morten Thrane, and Sales Director Kim Egede Saabye. This structure ensures a smooth transition and will guide the company into the next phase of its development.
With this change, Tantec continues to strengthen its strategic focus on growth and innovation while maintaining the strong expertise that has been key to its success.

Ownership
Tantec was owned and operated by Morten Thrane and Kim Egede Saabye from 2014 until it was acquired by the investor group FPE Group in 2017 following extensive preparations. However, the company is still managed by Morten Thrane and Kim Egede Saabye, who each retain a 10% ownership stake.
